On and off, our users ask us how to convert profile links collected from LinkedIn Sales Navigator into LinkedIn public links.
We know one great way to do it in just a few seconds for FREE. Yes, absolutely free! And yes, it takes just 20-30 seconds.
First of all, you need to have a CSV/XLSX file with links from Sales Navigator included. See an example below:
Open the file in Microsoft Excel, select the entire column with links, then press ctrl+f (cmd+f for Mac) and open ‘Replace’ tab. You will need to replace /sales/people/ with /in/. See the example:
Once done, select the entire column with links and go to Data => Text to columns. Click ‘Next’ on the first menu.
Then uncheck ‘Tab’ and check ‘Comma’ on the second one. Click ‘Next’ once again and then ‘Finish’.
You are done! LinkedIn public URLs will be placed in a separate column, other columns should be removed manually.
Make sure to upload finished file to SignalHire to find direct emails and phone numbers for those profiles! 🙂
