*This rating was generated based on the internal data that was obtained for SignalHire between April 2023 and March 2025. We looked at search queries by authenticated users (recruiters, sales people, and marketers) on our platform. Every search shows that you are interested in a heatmap location and title.
For the relevance, we pre-filtered the dataset and only included the queries that were about Canadian city or IT-related positions. We would then tally up the total number of searches per city to get the top seven most sought-after cities.
For each of the top cities, we took a look at which IT job titles were most commonly searched and listed the top three roles for each city. It should be noted that the structure of the data may not necessarily representative of the market as a whole, but rather amongst for SignalHire’s professional user base.
